Jennifer Graney, RN, BSN, LNCC
President, JCG Medical Legal Consulting
Jennifer is the founder and president of JCG Medical-Legal Consulting, LLC, established in 2003. In her 7 years as legal nurse consultant with JCG, Jennifer has participated in case review for both plaintiff and defense firms and has consulted on mass tort pharmaceutical litigation, criminal defense, medical malpractice and PI case work. She has assisted in matters at both the federal and local levels and her clients have received settlements as high as $1.5M and $2M, with numerous settlements in the high six figure range. At this time, all of the cases Ms. Graney has consulted on to date have settled out of court.
Ms. Graney is a veteran of the critical care environment with over 14 years serving in various capacities such as a Neuro-trauma Intensive Care Nurse at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her BS in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Her clinical experience includes work not only in critical care, but also in ambulatory care, endoscopy, post-anesthesia care, open heart recovery, emergency room, and cardiac nursing. Jennifer is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, Honor Society of Nursing and holds certifications for Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Legal Nurse Consulting.
Jennifer is currently the President of The Philadelphia Chapter of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (AALNC). She has been a guest lecturer for NJ Association for Justice, Northampton County Community College and several of her local area hospitals, lecturing on Nursing Standards and Documentation and most recently, “Medical Records Essentials: Tools for Uncovering Valuable Insight in You Personal Injury Cases.”
